CHALLENGES DON’T BREAK YOU, THEY MAKE YOU
Life has been amazing. Sometimes you have highs and other times a low. But the way we tackle it is the key to success. Coming from a Gujarati family and growing up with a family of accountants, I made my mind to take another path and pursue something else. In quest of achieving my dreams as well as my parents’, I took up science and did my engineering.
To be an odd woman out is not easy. Being a shy person in the beginning, it became extremely difficult for me work into groups. I slowly started interacting with people on regular basis. Being bullied for being a bookworm, I took it up as a challenge to prove them my worth. Not only did I participated in all inter-college competitions for sports and co-curricular activities, but also did win them. My challenge to change the perception of people around me for being a studious person to being an all-rounder has shaped me as a stronger individual.
Its every child’s dream to make their parents proud, so was my wish. To pursue MBA, I started preparing for in my last year of engineering. It’s been a tough task for studying both, but MBA is also about time management, I prepared hard for all my entrance exams and finally got into NMIMS, one of the most prestigious B-school of India. Coming from a small town, I making it big for getting into a coveted B-school was celebrated by putting up a big size hoarding by a publication in the main area of the city. To see my parents gleam with pride and their eyes shining with happiness is my dream come true. This is my key to happiness.
