Aditya Birla Group touches millions in the world, and I’m one of the million who have used their products. Aditya Birla Group is not limited to the production of one category of goods, they are into various sectors. Some of them are –

Aditya Birla Group is big in my life because of three of it’s business units- Idea, Peter England and UltraTech cement. And the reason for mentioning them are-
Idea:
All my family members used to use because of it’s connectivity and also because it provided reasonable plans such as-
Idea Cellular has taken the validity card scheme to the post-paid subscribers . Under its lifelong offer, postpaid customers will not have to pay any monthly rental for life, this can be availed by just paying a one-time amount of Rs 995 and prepaid customers can avail lifelong validity on a recharge of Rs 995 and get Rs 25 talk time.
It will charge 99 paise per minute for mobile-to-mobile local calls, 99 paise per 30 seconds for other local and STD calls.
Under the prepaid lifelong tariff, the company will charge Rs 1.99 for calls for one minute, while STD calls would be charged Rs 2.99 paise per minute.
Idea Cellular has also introduced 'I-Power prepaid vouchers' under two schemes, with one package offering a three-year validity and a talk time of Rs 150 for Rs 2,999, and the other offering a 2-year validity and a talk time of Rs 100 for Rs 1,199.
Peter England:
The experience with the Peter England Clothing is a bit new but also a great one and the quality of peter England clothing can be relied upon. The experience is new to me because I have passed out of my graduation recently so I did not have the chance to wear formal attires until I joined my post graduation in MBA. Here the mandatory dress code is formals , since I did not have any knowledge about the business formals I asked a lot of people I know to suggest me a brand that would provide best quality with affordable price ,like a typical consumer. And to my surprise 90 percent of the people whom I asked to gave me the name of Peter England. I am glad that I had gone with the majority people’s choice because the quality standards which I was expecting for have met.
UltraTech cement:
There was always a doubt with the tag line of UltraTech which says “The Engineer’s Choice” until I got to know that Hyderabad Metro Rail used UltraTech for the construction. I believed in their tag line after reading the article about the Hyderabad Metro , this is because I am a resident of Hyderabad and like any other Hyderabad resident I know how strong and steady the metro is and I am frequent user of this metro so I know the impact it has on people working at 9-5 jobs, low income individuals ,etc. It had removed the burden from the buses , so the metro is serving two purposes. I believe in the quality of the product Aditya Birla Group provides because the Telangana Govt. which is striving to urbanize Telangana and has been successful in doing so ,believed in this group then I can blindly trust the Aditya Birla Group.
In this was Aditya Birla Group has been able to make a better impact on my life .

OVERCOMING MY MOST DIFFICULT CHALLENGE
Everyone has their own ambitions and has to face a lot of challenges to achieve them, mine was no different. Until the completion of my first year in graduation I did not have any ambition in my life, I was going with the flow, but then my first year results were declared and I failed in one subject. This had a great impact on me and I could not believe that I had failed in a subject because that was new to me. At that point I made up my mind that I would never fail again and would clear the subject in the supplementary examinations so I worked hard for achieving it and it paid off, I cleared the subject and was one among the top 5 people who scored best in that subject. After this experience I had developed a sense of confidence that I can achieve my ambitions if I try hard and be consistent in pursuing that goal. After this I thought of changing my life, instead of going with the flow, I wanted to take control of my life so I kept searching for different options that I had after my graduation, and In the third year of the graduation I decided to pursue MBA in any of the IIM’s. I discussed this with a lot of people and everyone had warned me that it was not going to be easy. So I started to take coaching classes at one of the reputed institutes that train the CAT aspirants. My training had completed in the first semester of fourth year and as soon as the training ended the placement season of the college had started. I was successful in getting a few jobs and that deviated me a little bit.
Soon I tracked myself into the path of getting into IIM and started to work towards it a month before the cat examination. I made a detailed plan to cover all the topics and how to score better in the CAT by allocating sufficient amount of time to each topic, which was hectic considering the time constraint. So my preparation was going on a pace with which I was not satisfied with. 10 days before the CAT examination our university sends us the semester exam notification and to my bad luck I had the CAT examination in between two semester exams. This was the biggest challenge that I faced in my life. I did not know what to do, my parents asked me to concentrate on the semester exams because I would lose the jobs if I hadn’t performed well in the semester exams and also asked me to write the CAT exam next year. I thought it was a good thing to do but deep down I wanted to achieve my goal of getting into IIM. I thought about this for 3 to 4 hours and came to a conclusion that I would work hard for both the examinations. My weakness is sleep, if I don’t have enough sleep then I won’t be able to concentrate on the things I do, but during those 10 days I used to study for the whole day with a sleep of 2-3 hrs. This was the first time I had done this and at times I felt like leaving the CAT exam and concentrate only on semester exams, but deep down my I did not want this to happen so I pushed myself to my exceed my limits. This continued till a day before the CAT exam and the night before the CAT examination and the next day I did not sleep even for a minute. Atlast after all the struggle I was able to score my highest percentage amongst all the semesters in the graduation and also I was able to score a good percentile in the CAT and I have been able to get admission into the IIMs. This is how I managed to overcome my biggest challenge and achieve my ambition.
