ABG is not just about creating products to make lives better. It is also about sustainably developing them and making a pledge to make this world greener and better. The #ABGCARES initiative and the philosophy behind it truly resonates with me. This has always inspired me as a fellow Samaritan of a developing country who believes that sustainability will be the game changer in today’s world.

Empathy is the most important emotion in today’s age. ABG has truly ingrained this newly evolved business essence into its DNA. I still remember the first time I was being interviewed for my first job. I was a novice whose judgment was clouded with apprehensions. My father who has been a role model to me throughout my life took me out to buy formal clothes. Rather than being excited I was really tense as the pressure was slowly starting to build up for the interview.

My father realized it and while we were billing at the Peter England store, he suddenly told me to take a long deep breath. I got confused, but I still did it. Then he told me to look at a wall behind. I took a quick glance and there was something written on that wall.

                                                                                            “Beginning of good things”

Then he told me to stop thinking about the result of the interview. Rather focus on my strengths and everything will fall in place. I focused on what he said and it has made all the difference!

ABG has been a part of India since our forefathers had struggled for the freedom of this great country. It has truly been “Big in our lives” by empathizing with us.

Life is not always the bed of roses like it seems. Before I started my MBA, I was working in the IT industry for quite some time. Life soon became riddled and monotonous. One day while returning from my workplace I had an accident due which the bone in my left hand got completely broken. The pain was intense but soon it faded away. There was a certain silver lining to this cloud. I took some time off my work to recover from the injury. I used to have sleepless nights in introspection, contemplating my goals in life and how far I was from achieving them.
I started thinking about the job I was doing and thinking about whether it will help me achieve my goals. I practically could not relate to them. One day I surfing the web when I read a quote on the web. “There is no knowledge, that is not power” This triggered a lot of thoughts in my head. I realized that it was time to endure the pain and go back to the fundamentals. I right away started preparing for CAT and after months of hard work, I got into IMI New Delhi. That injury was due to the worst accident of my life. But it also majorly helped me to put my thoughts into perspective. I am making sure that I get closer to my goals every day. I am confident that will reach the summit one day.
