Apparently ABG doesn't need any introduction. So I would like to jump into what it means to me.
“What makes you different, makes you beautiful”. I could rather use it as the tagline for ABG products. ABG carries its flamboyance and resilience in a very unique way which makes it different from its competitors. It all started since 2010 when I first moved to Hyderabad for my higher studies, I visited BIRLA MANDIR as it was one of the most attracted tourist spots in Hyderabad. Since then the word BIRLA has been with me as a companion in some or the other way. “First impression is the best impression” is something which ABG aims in the way you talk, walk, breath and live. My work life hadn’t been complete if ABG doesn’t exist. Mostly other products make your work life a normal one. But ABG makes it into more professional one where you carry your own gravity and significance. You must be wondering what the products are!!! They are the one which you hold it for the whole day. They are the one which teaches you right attitude. They are nothing but the fabric that you carry on you. If I could be rhetoric, I would say ABG doesn’t just manufacture clothes but also sews self-confidence, self-esteem with it. These additional standards made me incline towards ABG products which made my life especially work life much easier. Hoping that ABG would carry its importance in one’s sustenance in an effective manner in the way it had been doing since its genesis.
I believe “When life gives you lemons, make it a lemonade”. One should never let themselves down irrespective of any odds. This is what reminds me when I was in Rajasthan for two years for my professional life. There has always been a language barrier for me initially since I hail from southern part of India. The language, food and people were completely different for which I had to work on my Hindi basics apart from holding my roles and responsibilities in the plant. Since I was the 2nd batch of Graduate Engineering Trainee from Pernod Ricard, the manufacturing plants haven’t seen young folks like me during that time. It helped me to inculcate modern thoughts to blue collar job holders and most importantly helped the plant with ongoing technology of sensor systems and other technological aspects. Apart from that, my professional stay helped me in exploring new traditions which groomed me and changed my perspective towards the society. Since I was in FMCG sector, I used to work continuously for few months without any leave due to surge in demand. This helped me to tackle tough situations and act accordingly. Post professional life was the toughest part for me since I have left the job for my further studies. Apart from preparation, I actively participated in NGO which allowed me in reminding fellow students that helping society must not be a task but a responsibility. Being from VGSOM I take pleasure in letting myself in every opportunity I get through my path and be an inspiration to the fraternity.
