Why Aditya Birla Group is Big in your life?
Aditya Birla group, league of Fortune 500, operates in 34 countries across 5 continents and named “Best Employer” in 2018 by Aon Hewitt. This gives us a perfect tagline for ABG – “Where ever you go, we follows”. Vast area that has been created by ABG has influenced everyone’s life from our necessity to luxury to future needs. If I talk about me, I have been a part of Aditya birla group as an intern in one of the business of premium conglomerate (Aditya Birla Nuvo formed around 2009). As stated by Chairman, Aditya Birla Group is more focused on its vision and values which I got well aware during intern. Everyone worked with same mission, management take care of employees and employees take care of customers. Each and every operation and activities were performed keeping in mind the society needs and safety of people. The Internal functioning of ABG eventually built a trust and I became an intended users. Most importantly, pantaloons lovers that expose you to world of style.
Directly or indirectly the focus of ABG on growing manufacturing activities, makes India independent piece by piece and we as customer gets good quality with number of choices. Actual market value comes into picture when people trust organization with their health and the sector grows by 68% y-o-y. Small or large, at least one product of ABG certifies “MAKING A DIFFERENCE”. This spirit motivate me to keep going with a good intention and magic will happen.
How have you made an impact?
When we lost our route and the path seems blur, its when an idol is who enlightens our route. This is something what I always want to be for thousands of girls out there who need that small stick to hold to. “Impact” is what I want to create in their life. But the need of hour was to have an impact on society, so I first worked on my skills. Belonging to a small town like mine, any ambitious girl was hard to find. I started talking to girls from my society, I formed a small group of 10 girls to encourage them and counsel for career endeavor. This is not where I stop. There is a saying that I believe from heart - You change society with a spark within you. My life took a turn and I chose to hold spanner rather then utensil, I chose to make real things by welding and cutting rather than make virtual things by a paint brush & I chose to work in male dominant shop floor to break any barrier of gender inequality. Now, I have here as MBA student as a next step towards my dream to bring a change in society and make world a better place with no discrimination. It makes me more content to see those 10 girls studying for CA, artist, gym trainer, etc. chasing their dreams.
