Founded in 1857, Aditya Birla Group has not just impacted our lives as individuals, but the life of our families as a whole. They have played a great part in building our nation in what it is today, not just on the infrastructural front, but also by helping us grow in our lifestyles.

Aditya Birla Group, is the bridge that connects the people of this country. I as an individual have benefited a lot from the smooth infrastructure (in the sense of roads, bridges, railways), that have been build, with the cement and steel that this group has provided this country from a very long time. I have stayed away from my home for at least 8 years now, and without the smooth connectivity it would have not been so easy. They have in reality and virtually through there telecom connectivity (i.e. Vodafone Idea) have made distances seem smaller.

From home, and shelter building necessities, they have also provided me with their great lines of textile and fashion brands. Aditya Birla Group, has been the top name in the formal attire sector of our country, having brands like Allen Solly, Peter England, Louis Philippe, Linen club, Ralph Lauren etc. With that they also have brands like Forever 21, Ted Baker, and Pantaloons that are the most awaited shopping stops for me.

Aditya Birla Group, is also present in the financial services sector, and has been a great support to my family and our business in financial banking and insurance terms.

Overall, Aditya Birla Group has always affected and made out lives easier in various aspects.

Challenges and Obstacles have always been hurdles that need to be jumped over to grow in life. I had the chance to learn this life lesson at an early stage in my life. While I was 13 years old, (i.e. in class 7), I had made a decision to go to a boarding school, far from my hometown, to continue my further studies. This was something that I wanted for myself, my self-development and growth. But my family was not very appreciative of the idea, of sending me so far from them at such an early stage in life. But, I had realized that, my education, co-curricular activities and my personality development would be at a much better pace, if I could convince my family to take this big step with me and not against me.

As I am a part of a joint family, having six other members elder to me, this made the challenge an even bigger one. Slowly and gradually, through weeks and months I convinced each and every member, of my family, showing them the benefits I would gain, by this small sacrifice we made as individuals, for my growth and development into a better person.

It was difficult for me, because as a child, I myself had to accept the fact that I would be living far from my family and parents. Secondly, to convince my family that I as a 13 year old had taken my own decision, which I thought would be beneficial for me.

But ultimately, because family is the one that always supports you, I was able to make them understand my thought process and decision, which they supported. And I still am very thankful to my family to have always understood, supported and advised me in taking all small to big steps in my life.
