Aditya Birla Group has many brands under his name which they sell through both online and offline stores. Aditya Birla group brands include Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England and individual brand stores and through other multi-brand outlets. Aditya Birla Group's cement business was earlier under Grasim Industries and UltraTech Cement which now has been merged into UltraTech Cement to form India's largest cement company. ABG has more than 18 hospitals through which they serve more than millions of villagers. These brands affect the life of common man right from cement which everyone uses to build their home to premium clothes brands.
There are times in life where we have to face challenges. But one should see them as the stepping stones towards success. Similarly, once I was the coordinator of Design & Build competition in Shaastra, technical fest of Indian Institute of Technology Madras where I was supposed to organize two technical events. Few months before the actual event I was asked to drop these tasks as they were not generating enough participation and a lot of money was going to waste. I was very excited to organize them. But at that point, it was impossible to organize them also it was not possible to organize them as it is very tough to convince the head of the events team. So, I went to my room and thought the whole night about what could be done. So I came up with an Idea of combining both the events and organize as a hybrid event. So Maze-rover was decided to be conducted during the Shaastra. I worked for days and nights for the next 45 days, created a connection medium between participants for any clarification as well as marketed it very well across the various online and offline medium. As a result, Maze-rover turns out to be the second most participated event with more than 300 plus participants. Major learning for me was to never lose hope and never fear challenges. As these challenges are only in our mind and we should never let it overcome our beliefs. Overcoming these challenges helped me to achieve my ambition in life so far.
