Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life.

If qualities like integrity, quality, performance, perfection and above all character defines any conglomerate, then Aditya Birla Group comes to our mind without any hesitation. The bright colorful sun in the logo is a symbolic reflection of these traits. The conglomerate has established itself as synonyms to Trustworthiness and loyalty.

From 8 countries to 34 countries or from 2 billion dollars to 44.3 billion dollars or from 60 to 120 thousand employees, the Aditya Birla Group has definitely grown in size and reputation. The best part of the Aditya  Birla Group is that it has evolved and grew alongside me. Be it from the time, when my mother used to pack my tiffin when I was a kid and wrapped the food in ‘Freshwrapp’ aluminum foil which kept the food hot and fresh to present day, buying for formal clothing and business suites from Allen Solly, Peter England or Van Heusen. Be it playing in the Ultratech Cement when our house was getting constructed 15 years ago to using Idea mobile network for the last 5 years. Aditya Birla Group has surely impacted mine and everyone else's life throughout the world.

Also, the iconic engineering marvel, designed to connect the main city of  Mumbai to its western suburbs, Aditya Birla Group constructed the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, a beautiful standing testimony of how they’ve connected and made India beautiful.

"What an Idea Sirji!!!"

Also what woos everyone about Aditya Birla Group in spite of being the third largest NBFC in India, is the way they have taken up CSR responsibilities. They have enthusiastically contributed towards the Health and education sector providing over 15000 scholarships to students. They have impacted the lives of millions, through their initiative of immunization of 70 million children against Polio across 5000 villages.

Overcoming challenges to achieve ambitions in my life -

Failure is not the opposite of Success, it's part of the success

Most of us have been conditioned from a very early age to achieve, to win, and to get all the answers right. To appear wrong is to appear weak, or so we're told. Most of us know that failure is a reality of life, and at some level, we understand that it actually helps us grow. But still, we abhor failing. I am grateful to my parents for the person I am today but I am most thankful to them to imbibe in me the quality to learn lessons from the failure and grow further. This along with the quote by  Og Mandino -

Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough

has been the motto of my life.

I have failed many times in my life, more times than I am willing to admit. The first major failure was not able to participate in State level due to injury but the injury made me strong and I practiced for 10 hrs a day continuously for 4 months and not only I got a silver medal at the state level but also qualified and participated in Nationals. Not able to make it to IIT for Engineering completely wrecked me but that became the motivation to excel at wherever I would go. I got into one of the reputed colleges in the country - VIT University and throughout the 4 years of my graduation I was among the top 5 students of the batch. Due to my Father's illness, I had to resign from a reputed high paying job but then after a lot of struggles, I joined Accenture and created everlasting relations with my clients and I was also constantly being appreciated by them for my innovative approaches and ownership of work. The learning that I took from there is priceless and will be an asset throughout my life. I have never let these difficult situation dictate my life. In fact, they became the motivation for me to work extra hard and succeed in my life. I think I have failed so many times that it has become my comfort zone and hence inspired me to participate in a variety of activities be it in sports, Dramatics, Debates, Sketching, etc and to learn, fail and finally excel in them. I think all these failures have made me the person I am today.
