Life always gives you such times where your entire life will change; you will have no idea about what just happened to you but it will give you an experience of a lifetime.

In the first week of April, my interview got scheduled. It was easy to crack. All 6 students who applied got selected. I was quite happy with my selection in this company.

On 1st May, my roommate and I reached Pune and at the very first step, I welcomed the real struggle in my life. On 2nd May, it was our first day and I was pretty excited and nervous too because I was just about to step into the new world of the market.

From 3rd May onwards, the real struggle of life began. I have never seen such situations that I have faced in these months. Our work was totally field activities based and we used to walk 8-9 km per day for the week and more.

My mentor was very supportive throughout, and he always gave the best corporate life examples and situations. He always gave us challenging tasks.

One of my projects was JDPLive, a project given by J.D. Power. It was a study based on the car owners and we needed to take feedback from them. It was the most challenging project among all. I got frustrated, irritated but, Rohit sir (my mentor) always had our back and we completed the project successfully!

My father always told me that, "Ek time aisa zaroor aata hai jab sabko apni aukat samaj aa jati hai". This was the time for me. Today I know where I stand and from here I can see my destination very clear.

Our stipend was totally variable, based on the project amount only. More work you do, the more you can earn.

Everyone says that "Ye mere khoon pasine ka paisa hai."Now I can understand that because even I have combined my blood and sweat to earn this money.

But seriously, these two months have taught me the real life lessons. I know how to live with limited sources, how to value people, how to value yourself and many other such lessons.

I thank Mr. Rohit Bezalwar, who was my Mentor during the Internship.

Thank you, Kantar. Thank you, Pune. Thank you, UBS!
