Before beginning , I offer my tributes and respects to a visionary , philanthropist and an industrialist par excellence ,Sri Basant Kumar Birla Ji who recently left us for the heavenly abode.He will always be a role model to every student of business on the face of the earth!!
Aditya Birla group has touched my life in innumerable ways. The group is present in so many businesses ;be it retail, be it finance , be it cement or be it telecom ; that I think there might hardly be any Indian who has been left untouched by this great organisation . However today , I would describe my fond memories associated with Hindalco's Consumer Products Division's famous brand Freshwrap. So...My fun remembrance of the iconic brand...is...

.....the time when I had just joined my new school, being a bit reserved in my approach ensured ..that I remain devoid of any new friend despite the fact that several months had already passed by and then one sudden day , my mother culinary skills and the Hindalco foil came to the rescue of this hapless and extremely shy child.....good food has the power to win the heart of even the most merciless and cold hearted , then what could possibly stop a bunch of 5 years olds to not get swayed by the aroma of delicious food that was coming from my desk , in no time I got surrounded by my classmates and got looted for the first time in my life :p I was soon extended an olive branch and I too forgave them!
The foil not only also ensured the freshness of the home cooked food that day but was also rolled in the shape of a cricket ball which was soon used in our oh...so serious cricket match!!
Long gone are the days of our playing carefree in the sun , running after the kites and innocent banter, but still these memories always bring a smile on my face.Thank you Aditya Birla Group for giving me an opportunity of reminiscing my golden days!
And a bit more about me.........
" Are you giving up? How can you be so weak?", said someone who always had immense confidence in my abilities , who always motivated to do the right thing and who no matter what always pushed me to walk that extra mile, that someone was giving up on me .Yes you guessed it right , I am talking about my "inner self", I was very upset and dejected , thought that I won't cope up. It had been a year in my organisation "Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd", I was promoted and I got a new project to work on , however I was finding it extremely tough to cope up with the new responsibilities, my workload in the project was many fold more than in my previous project and I had become more answerable after my promotion .On top of that , I had to master a new technical module , without the help of anyone . At that time , I started to feel that I may not be able to deliver .However my inner self like always managed to pull me up one more time and I sat on yet another voyage to face my fears one more time . I worked hard day and night to master on my capabilities and abilities for months one more time and eventually I was able to receive the divine providence one more time.I received appreciation from my clients and my supervisors for my work; only because I outdid myself.
I look forward to many more " one more " times in my life.
