Role of Aditya Birla Group in my life
Aditya Birla Group was established much before independence in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla. Since then it has been doing a lot for India’s economy. The group has set up its mark in all the major industries including staple fiber, metals, cement, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, carbon black, telecom, BPO, financial services and IT services. It has added itself in the league of Fortune 500.
Apart from the business, ABG had been connected with 42 schools which impart knowledge to thousands of students and a huge number of unprivileged children by providing scholarships and mid day meals. Also, more than 40,000 women have been empowered by the group by providing them training and skills which has resulted in the formation of around 4000 self help groups. It was also responsible for holding immunization programs for polio and medical camps for millions of villagers along with 20 hospitals in association. This way they have been contributing a lot for a heathier and educated India.
This group has been bringing happiness and smiles in innumerable people’s lives including me. Most importantly, the Ultratech cement has strengthened the infrastructure of my area by converting cottages to concrete houses. No matter where I go today I don’t need to be worried of the path due to the reliable 4G service provided by the Idea network and I can navigate my way without any hassles and stay connected with my family all the time.
This way ABG has been a part of my life and will continue to be for years to come.
