Why Aditya Birla is big in my life?
Aditya Birla has been there with me since my childhood everywhere, every moment. With more than 30 subsidiaries it has won over the hearts of the consumers. From the basic necessities like shelter to clothing, it has been there in financial services and telecom industry as well. ABG being there for 164 years have engraved its brand value in Indian customers with its services and duties towards the society. With its tagline “uniting people” Ultratech Cement has built trust and sense of safety. It is said clothes define who you are, and with this comes up Pantaloons with the tagline “wear your confidence”. Pantaloons has been there with me since I was 5, “honey” was not a brand it was a verb, an emotion for me then. Coming to Vodafone-idea, which was my mate during my college days, is all known for its network coverage making our life easy and kept us connected. Coming to this rigorous MBA life, Aditya Birla has been a constant support and motivator with Allen Solly’s formal wear, which gives me the confidence to ace through this competitive world.
How I overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
Coming from a small town I always had the issue of not being exposed to opportunities, this insecurity in turn made be me shy and introvert in the face of the outer world. It was the greatest challenge I was facing, it was a fight with myself but I had to break those chains and come up, it wasn’t easy, had there not been the support of my family and friends I would not have overcome it. The next challenge I faced was to get through my dream college and with sheer hard work I achieved it. Coming up on my way was CAT and to get into a b-school. The journey was itself a roller coaster ride, from preparations to appearing for exams to interviews and finally selections. I read a lot in these interim days to achieve what I always wanted, and yes, I got through it, I got through XIMB.
