It’s called a great vision, not when a company meets its goals and targets, but when it influences lives of people. Aditya Birla Group is something that has played a very important role in my life. For the 10 years of my father’s life as a civil contractor, UltraTech cement has been part of my life. It’s been a source through which we had our living; it’s been a way in which we earned our bread and butter.
Aditya Birla is also a part of happiness and sadness in my life; it’s the way I connected with my family and friends. IDEA is the first and only sim card I have, and for the reason unknown, I never felt like changing to other networks. It’s a silent audience in the 1AM jokes I have, it’s a patient bearer of my anger and a pathway that accommodated a lot of memories- from shocks to celebrations. And the real influence of Aditya Birla Group is yet to come.
I love shopping, and once I found a really nice pair of clothes in “Louis Philippe” worth Rs.7598 but I didn’t buy as we clearly cannot afford it. Disappointed, I was looking for something which has lower price tag and suddenly I saw my father at the billing, paying for the Louis Philippe pair. I asked my father not to buy it because I didn’t like it, but it was not clear in my eyes. And then I told him that it’s too pricy, he smiled and said, “I can buy you this pair and even more but only under one condition, give me a word that when you start earning, you will be living at least the same standard of life and you will never back-off from buying a pair of clothes, just because you can’t afford it.”
I got that Louis Philippe pair I wanted, and that’s when I realized that the real definition of being successful. I realized that being successful is when you live your dream and never back-off and now; I am living my dream of being an MBA, and learning to be in a stage where I will not back-off from doing anything.
it gives one real amusement when one tries to get back to find his life changing moments and finds that Aditya Birla Group has been a part of his life, all this time.
