A sure sign that a company is making it ‘big’ lies in their ability to leave a footprint in the market, or even better, markets. Aditya Birla Group is one of the few companies that has entered practically every second industry, and has managed to make its mark there.
Prior to this competition, I was aware of about less than half the brands and businesses under Aditya Birla Group, despite having consumed plenty of them.
As far back as my memory goes, my journey with Aditya Birla Group started in my school days, with Freshwrapp. While all mothers have an undying love for Tupperware, my mother had an undying love for Freshwrapp, using it to pack my tiffin every day. Although I started off as a passive consumer with this product, it did shape my idea and perception of it, making it reliable for consumption even today, after all those years. It’s big enough to transform a childhood memory into an adult reality.
Another brand I’ve been engaging with is Vodafone Idea Limited. This service is especially beneficial to me today, when I live a good distance away from my loved ones and home. It’s big enough to fill up that distance.
More recently, I’ve encountered the true boon that is Allen Solly. Shopping has never been my most ideal pastime. Shopping for B-school has been an even worse experience, what with all the regulations and restrictions, and I travelled from shop to shop, in vain. And then, almost out of nowhere, I walked into Allen Solly, a decision that changed my life. They had everything from a varied range of (good-looking) formal clothes to a varied range of sizes. If you’re a girl who’s tried shopping for formal clothes before, you know what I mean. When it fits, it looks too plain; when it looks good, it doesn’t fit; there’s no in-between! Allen Solly instantly became my go-to. It’s big enough to woo you over in just one visit.
Along with its ubiquity, Aditya Birla Group has also been ‘big’ in my life because some of my most trusted brands and the ones I’ve stayed loyal to are the ones aforementioned. Aditya Birla Group is big enough to be a constant part of your life.
Speaking of constants in life, no matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s no denying that daily challenges and obstacles rank quite high up on the chart.
I do believe my life is a constant work in progress, and I’m always learning from my experiences and mistakes. Currently, I’m facing what is by far the biggest challenge in my life – studying at a B-school. Coming from a pure arts background with a major in English Literature, practically every course I study today is new for me. As exciting as it is to learn something new every day, it’s equally challenging to cope and match the intellect level of my peers.
The one thing that has always got me through my challenges is my sense of determination and never-say-die attitude. I truly believe that everything I have to face in life is because I have the ability to go through – and grow through – it. That’s not to say that I’ve never faced failure – I’ve faced far too many, but my strength lies in being able to get back up and push myself to try harder again. I’ve got one life, and I’ve got nothing to lose.
