Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think of Indian Conglomerates that have made it large in the entire world. It was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857.ABG spans a total of 34 countries and employs 1,20,000 employees. To begin with, they are the largest player in industries like Aluminum Rolling, Viscose staple fibre, carbon black and telecom.

Aditya Birla Group has a number of products/brands that have an enormous impact on my life. The most impactful brand would be Vodafone Idea. Pursuing MBA from a city away from my home town, the network provided by Vodafone allows me to connect with my family and friends. It also helps me take advantage of the 4g network and facilitates my research for various projects. The data plans are also affordable for a student.

Interviews, Conferences and Conclaves are an integral part of any MBA program. A good fit that accentuates professionalism is always hard to find. Brands like Allen Solly, Peter England and Louis Philippe have made life easier not just for me but for a vast number of budding managers by providing a wide array of formal wear.

Keeping left over food fresh for consumption is a struggle for any student. Freshwrapp makes my life easier by keeping food fresh. It is my savior on the days I have lectures and meetings scheduled all day as packing food is my only option.

The Aditya Birla Group also indirectly impacts my life by taking measures to improve our society and country and making it a better place for all of us to live. Its CSR initiatives in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and its endeavor in making model villages is indeed making our society better.

If your first instinct is to run away from failures, then perhaps you’re doing it the wrong way!

Challenges are a part and parcel of life. A life without challenges will be too boring. Challenges test your resilience towards difficult or unknown situations.

Getting into some of the top B-schools is never an easy task. At the time, I had decided to finally enroll for an MBA program. Balancing my work timings and practicing for the competitive exams taught me how to manage my time. Managing both was difficult as these exams require one to devote a substantial part of their day to ensure a good score. I was determined to get into NMIMS and after a very well thought out plan, some confidence and dedication, I made it through.

One of the most recent challenges I faced was getting into a good company for my summer internship program. Summer Internships are considered to be crucial for an MBA student as it helps students get a pre placement offer. The competition is fierce when It comes to proving yourself amongst several other brilliant minds. I wanted to get into consultancy which is considered to be one of the most difficult and demanding domains. It requires in depth knowledge and problem-solving abilities. I set my mind to it and bagged the second highest package on campus and also got the role I desired.
