They say that Aditya Birla Group has touched a million lives but I say Aditya Birla Group has touched my life alone a million times. And this statement alone is enough to tell that Aditya Birla Group has had a huge part to play in my life and how important it is. It can be easily said that Aditya Birla Group is omnipresent, from the time I was born till this day I have lived in a house that was built with ABG cement, that house gave me a secure life and a life full of memories. Similarly, my entire childhood and adulthood each day that I took a tiffin box to my school and college, and each day the food that was prepared by my mother remained warm and tasty, that was because the food was packed in Freshwrap! Then I remember in 2002 my father had bought his first cellular phone and you know exactly which sim card he had for his network connection, IDEA, it indeed changed our lives! Idea helped my family talk to my grandparents who lived across the country at reasonable costs, it helped us stay connected. Then of course one I started going to college, Pantaloons was my go-to destination for shopping, with so many brands and options to choose from under that name, there was no looking at any other clothing once you entered the Pantaloons Premises! So this is what my life has been ABG, there has rarely been a day in my life where ABG was not around so you could say that ABG has seen me grow and become the person I am today!
Every person on the face of this planet has face challenges in his/her life, and most often than not they have overcome them and learnt from those experiences. If I talk about the challenges I have faced in my life, to be very frank there have been not many of them. The only challenges I have faced till now have been decisions I have had to make where there were not many options to choose from. I have lived a very sheltered life and my parents have been like helicopters through and through. Wherever they felt I was going wrong and I needed some amount of guidance, they helped me. And in moments where I felt they were not the best people to take advice from, I followed my heart. I have been my own mentor all my life. Every studies related, extra-curricular activity related dilemmas I have had, I have dealt with them on my own and done them on my own terms. I am a very good listener and thanks to ears I have been a silent listener to every conversation I was exposed to. I have learnt from people’s experiences and their mistakes. I have analysed things and hence chosen what I felt was the best for me and what made me happy. So to all the people who say they have never had a mentor or a guide in their lives, to them I say BE YOUR OWN MENTOR OR GUIDE, this was you will learn the most and this way chances are that you will most likely follow your heart and that is the way you would best be able to overcome challenges!
