ONE GROUP FOR EVERY PHASE OF LIFE

Aditya Birla group has been touching lives of numerous individuals around the globe with a range of businesses across the world.

With over 2000 retail outlets for making our wardrobes fashionable every second, Aditya Birla Group is certainly a big part of my life. I still remember my school farewell, the final destination to the ultimate beginning. When I was ready to step out of the walled cocoon, I had to look smart and confident. That’s when I went to Van Heusen outlet to buy my first 3 piece suit. I was mesmerized by the amazing collection and variety at the store. It didn't take more than 15 minutes to shortlist 10 suits, but it took me more than 2 hours to figure out the best one. The most difficult part was not to select one, but how to reject the other nine. Then ultimately the one I chose was a perfect combination of elegance and style and it made me feel motivated and confident. Moreover, later that day to add the final cherry on the cake, I was awarded the Mr. Well Dressed title for the evening. It was indeed a day to remember for me.

Moving on with the association, the ultratech cement holds an even deeper association as my father proudly built his house of dreams with that particular product. The house has seen us Enjoy, Cry and supporting each other till the end.

Truly, Aditya Birla Group touches life everywhere.

                                                                                 CHALLENGES OF LIFE

During my final year project, which seemed to be an over ambitious project, I somehow managed to convince my teammates and teachers to go for it. But it required immense hard work as we had to learn new languages altogether in order to complete it. My teammates started doubting and avoided the work. I brought the team together, motivated them and assigned them relatively wearier task. Together, we were able to complete our project. The key learning for me through this incident was that everybody have their strengths and weaknesses. As a team we need to understand each other’s both strengths and weaknesses and worker together towards a common goal. If in future I were to handle similar situations, I would ensure that no one under my leadership do things as an obligation, but takes pride and enjoy what he does. Another challenge that I faced was during my class 12th board exam. While the exams were on the verge of starting, I lost my grandmother with whom I shared a very strong bond. I met my teachers and my closed ones and I somehow managed to recover from the grief and gave my exams. I went on to become a scholar for that year. It taught me one very precious lesson. There will be times in life where there’ll be many setbacks. But as its said, the life must go on. No doubt, it takes time, but eventually you have to be strong at heart.
