Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big in Your Life?
Aditya Birla Group is one of those names which every Indian has heard about. Everyone has heard these lines sometime in their childhood that “tata- birla ki aulad nhin ho”.
So, the whole situation revolves around the time I was preparing for my interview process for the IIMs. I had the afternoon slot for the interview. It was D-Day and I was super excited for the interview, but in the morning tragedy struck and my suit was spoiled due to me dropping my entire breakfast on it. It was hard to find a suitable business suit in the area where I live and was not able to find any suit as per my fitting. I was feeling down and without a suit and the interview scheduled just few hours ahead, I had lost all hope. But then I came across Peter England showroom and decided to try for the last time, otherwise I would be sitting in the interviews in a plain formal shirt. In the store, as if by a miracle, the first coat I picked up was a comfortable fit. I was elevated to be able to finally find a suit that was a comfortable fit. Filled with confidence I rushed back to the designated location for the interview process. This is why the Aditya Birla Group is big in my life as without them my interview, which was one of the most important interviews I have ever given, would have been ruined.
How Have You Made an Impact?
During my job I was assigned to a project that was as complex as it was time consuming. The project came with strict deadlines and to deliver it within the time limit was a humongous task. The entire team was working for more than 15 hours each day to get the project done. After my addition to the team, I tried to break ground with new ideas and developed new concepts that would lead to a massive reduction in man-hours required. My proposal was accepted by the seniors in the team and we changed the way we were developing the code. The new concept made it easier to test the code as well reducing the time taken by the Q&A team as well.
