Aditya Birla Group, spread across 34 countries across the globe, has a huge share in our daily lives, whether we realize it or not. From the buildings we live, to the clothes we wear, and the telecommunication we use to connect with other people, we can say that, we will come across one of the ABG product in every single day of our life.
The first ABG product that comes in my mind is Birla cement. My uncle owns a cement shop and I remember seeing stacks of Birla Cement there, in my childhood. He always used to speak about the quality and worthiness of the product, which gained the likes of many customers. Later, ABG took over the Ultra tech cement which again boosted their customer strength.
Coming from an agricultural family, it wouldn’t be fine if I don’t highlight their contribution in this field. ABG manufactured and distributed NPK complex, DAP and even organic fertilizers, which reached most of the rural parts of the country, enabling the farmers to increase their productivity.
The role of ABG in metal field ranges from the Aluminium foils used in wrapping food items to the extruded aluminium products and the famous ‘Everlast roofing sheets “. Rather than in industrial sector, they are also continuously contributing towards the education sector, by associating 42 schools with them. ABG has already provided with more than 12000 scholarships across India. Generation of employment opportunities is huge because of its wide diversification in a different category of products and services.
There is no other such company or group in the world like ABG that delivers service in these many diverse sectors. ABG is not just based on 2 or 3 firms .They have their arms spread across the globe , like an OCTOPUS.
