Aditya Birla Group is an ideal, a vision, a legacy that has evolved and taken shape over the decades. It is the third largest Indian private sector conglomerate with its products spread over Agribusiness, carbon black, cement, e-commerce, finance, mining, retail, telecommunications and textiles, it has become an innate part of our day to day life.
Globally, Aditya Birla Group is the 1st in Aluminum rolling, viscose staple fiber and in carbon black. It will be very hard to believe that a person has not come across any of the ABG products as it has a massive presence in our lives. From the glass covers which we use on our smart phones, produced by Hindalco Aluminum to the carbon nano particles used in the tyres of our cars, from the cement used in the walls of our houses to the Vodafone-Idea network we use, Aditya Birla Group is everywhere.
The one thing which I can’t thank ABG enough is its hospital – The Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital in Pune. My grandfather was diagnosed with a third stage throat cancer in the year 2009. I was in my early teens then and didn’t really understand the depth of the situation. My entire family was devastated after coming across this news. My grandfather was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital but none of them could offer the correct and advanced treatment. After 2 weeks of struggle, my dad decided to shift him to Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital-Pune. After 1 whole year of rigorous treatment and chemotherapy, by the grace of God and the super-talented doctors, my grandfather was brought back home. My family and I will be indebted to Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital forever as it gave my grandfather a chance to live a happy and healthy life once again.
