Changes and challenges are almost synonymous to me. The challenges have played a very important role since it has been the best grooming teacher. The challenges are the just result when one takes the road less travelled and I did take many. Here I will focus on the most recent one.
After 2 years of job in the technical end, I made a decision of switching to a role where I was since long, the HR role. The decision in itself was a great challenge because switching to altogether to a new domain after 2 years of experience meant comprising and giving up my higher pay scales and future growth. It was really tough to explain it to my family and my closed ones. Some even thought of me as a fool, some thought I wasn’t serious about my career or I was just being too casual about everything.
But, on the contratry, I was now being more serious about what I want to do. Doing something that I love would never be a task for me but a playground where I can grow, innovate and strengthen myself every day. After few months of search, I finally landed in AMAZON in the HR role and now at NMIMS I just feel how a step which I took two years ago has helped me to actually pen down my path for all these 2 years and the years coming ahead. Truly, a small change can result in a lifetime experience.
