Aditya Birla Group is such a huge company that it is rare to not see it’s presence in the environment around you. They are the leaders in everything from Telecomm to Construction, etc. It’s two well-known and well-established brands are – UltraTech Cement Limited and Vodafone Idea Limited. Vodafone Idea covers about 92% of the population, reaching around 500,000 towns and villages. It focuses on energy conservation, waste minimization and carbon footprint reduction. It has reduced the carbon dioxide emission by 52,000 tons per annum. The merger between Idea and Vodafone was a huge news for me because as a customer of Idea I was already fed up by the services provided by Idea and was planning on changing it to either Vodafone or Airtel, but luckily for me Vodafone took in Idea and started providing a better service than Idea were giving out. This helped me in making a decision to stay and avoided the hassle of re-registering the same mobile number with a new provider.
As for UltraTech cement, it is enjoying the majority market share in this industry as it rightfully should do so. It is also in the leading as the go-to cement company for any new constructions because of its affordable cost and guarantee of the quality.
