During my engineering days, I always found inclination towards the business side of the companies and this intrigued me to pursue a course of Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Though, I am presently in a Business School but it has not come without challenges.
After my engineering, I prepared hard for Common Admission Test (CAT) with my utmost dedication but got a very low percentile. I was shattered in the beginning but gathered confidence in the second attempt. I left no stone unturned and my percentile improved by a margin of 40 percentile. The sense of satisfaction I derived is not describable. But the journey had just begun.
In the first term of my MBA journey, I came in the bottom 20 people of the batch academically. I was called by the senior faculties to deliberate on the issue. I felt very left out that day as I had never encountered such a situation in my entire life. But, like its said life is all about experiences. I mustered courage and with all my strength, I made a comeback in the second term and received a Letter of Appreciation from the Director for highest improvement from Term One to Term Two.
From the above two instances I have quoted, I feel that nothing in life should be taken less seriously else you may suffer later. These instances have also helped me to tackle pressure and still stay calm. This has been a learning experience for me in my lifetime which I shall never forget.
