Role of Aditya Birla Group in my life is Huge.
A name which everyone knows but no one actually understands its vastness. What we see out there or what we realize is just the tip of an iceberg. There is a lot more beneath. My lifestyle is full of Aditya Birla Group products. The company has almost everything to offer. The place where I stay is made up of Ultra Tech cement provided. I am fond of traveling like many of you out there might be too. But have you realized that car Tyre consists of a vital element called carbon black. We don’t even know to what extent carbon black is present around us. It is present there are belts, hoses and other non-tire rubber goods as well. The book we read, the photocopies we get in fact the inks in our printers consist of this element. It is a basic element in our electronics items, plastics, elastomer, films, adhesive, etc. Aditya Birla Group is one of the major producers of this carbon black. So we can now have a tiny essence of how ABG is omnipresent in our lives. This list doesn’t end here my favorite clothing brand Forever 21, yes it is an ABG product. The company has so much to offer in the fashion and clothing domain as well. Want to dress in smart Formals, you have Allen Solly, Peter England, and Van Heusen. Want to flaunt the style diva in you they have Forever 21, people, Ralph Lauren, etc You name it and they have it.
This is the vastness of the Aditya Birla Group in our lives. Moreover not just the vastness, the quality they maintain is something to look upon. Aditya Birla Group has made my life so simple and yet Big.
Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far
Since my childhood, I was good at mathematics and science. My interest in science and maths was the reason for opting for engineering. I have heard a lot about IIT’s as the premium engineering colleges of India. It had become a dream of mine to get into an IIT. I decided to put my whole heart and mind into this. I realized that to get into an IIT, I need to crack a very competitive exam known as JEE. I opted to join IIT coaching post my 10th standard. That was a tough decision as I had to stay away from my parents, all by myself. Indeed it turned out to be a tough situation. My days went into coaching institute and my evening went by self-studying. I had to put around 12-14 hours of my day into my studying. A thought always swept across my mind that, my school friends back in my hometown are enjoying their lives. But my strong determination of getting into an IIT kept me going. I did all I could do and the end result is, I secured an AIR- 1271. That was the happiest moment of my life. I had achieved what I had decided.
I joined IIT Roorkee. Those were the best 4 years of my life. I did all that I wanted to do. I played different sports, I joined various groups, I studied hard. Time went by and I landed up with a software development job. I did that job for the next two years. Coding was something I could do but not something that I love to do. So I started preparing for CAT as I wanted to have a broader perspective in life. I cracked CAT and joined FMS, Delhi. Now I am looking forward to another learning curve of my life.
