As Mr. Aditya Vikram Birla from The Aditya Birla Group (ABG) had said in 1994 "Globalisation is not just a change of numbers. It means also a profound change in our psyche and in our planning ".

True to this essence , the Aditya Birla Group has continuously indulged in innovation and developed the Psyche of "Looking beyond the barriers of Physical territory , Cultures , Ethnicity etc..."

From Clothing to Telecom , from Cements to Banking , we can hardly find any sector in which Aditya Birla Group has not affected our life . Directly or Indirectly  , ABG is touching our lives on a daily basis .  Be it through Peter England or through Ultra Tech Cement , we are always utilizing some or the other product of ABG directly . It is also interesting to note that while we are directly in touch with multiple brands of ABG , there are umpteen number of indirect ways in which ABG is creating an impact on us . Take for Instance - Birla Carbon which is used by various Tyre manufacturers , used in conveyors at Airports etc ,  though indirectly these products and solutions are making a big impact on our lives.

On similar lines , I too have grown up and believed that change is the only constant and the time we stop innovating we seize to exist . From being a mechanical engineer to working in Product Management to doing an MBA , there has not been a single phase where change and innovation has not impacted me . I have always looked at change with glee and taken up any opportunity of new learning . Yes there have been struggles , there have been scars but whats keeps me going is the excitement of the unknown and the positivism of the people around me .I may not be the best in whatever I do , but I do ensure that I upgrade myself and be a better person every single day .

The biggest challenge that I faced was during my class 12 , I had broken my ankle while playing football . I was advised complete bed rest for 2 months . I had to miss lectures and crucial study hours of 12th due to this unfortunate incident . I knew that in order to reach the same levels as my peers I had to put double the efforts if not more .After a month I started to feel restless and started slowing going to the tuition center near my house with the help of crutches and friends , i also ensured that I had covered all the topics I had missed in college . Lesser the time meant that I had to utilise the time judiciously . After recovering completely I gad an hectic schedule of waking up early for tutions , then going to college followed by tuition classes post the college hours and come back home revise whatever was taught , eat , sleep and repeat the same routine .  Although I did not clear IIT's or NIT's .I managed to get into the number one ranked engineering college of VTU, Karnataka for pursuing my Mechanical Engineering Degree.

From then on there has been no looking back , whenever there has been a struggle I made sure I worked twice as hard to get into a good job , post graduation and so on . I am confident that the lessons I learnt in life will urely help me innovate and welcome change and challenge with great enthusiasm as always .
