Challenges are a part of life and overcoming them makes one reach their utmost potential. It is important to challenge yourself to push your limits and break the monotony in life. My life has been challenging so far and I have taken it as it came.

First off, I had taken science as my preferred choice during higher secondary. Soon after I realised; I did not want to do engineering, nor did I want to pursue medicine. During my 12th standard I decided I wanted to pursue CA and I started preparing for it right after my JEE exams. I could clear CPT in the first attempt even without a background in commerce. I toiled for 2 months but in the end, it was worth the efforts as I managed to clear the exams and score better than my batch mates who had a background in commerce.

After this I decided to pursue B. Com(H) from SVKM’s NMIMS university. In my final year of graduation, I decided I wanted to join a reputed management college. I juggled my end term exams and CAT simultaneously along with managing attendance and coaching classes. I managed to fare well in both the aspects. Being a fresher, it was particularly hard for me to get into one as I did not have a lot of practical knowledge but for the same, I gave mock interviews and developed my skills to get into one. I have now joined IMI New Delhi which is one of India’s premiere B-Schools.

Also, I am a sports enthusiast, I have been involved with various sports throughout my school life and never have I ever backed down from any challenge that I have faced during my trials or practice sessions. I have managed to play well and study hard together and have scored well in every aspect of school life. I truly believe in a famous quote from the popular series Suits, “When you’re backed against a wall, break the thing down.”

I am looking forward to a challenging life soon in the managerial role I get into after my PGDM.
