Back in 2007, I still remember when we got first mobile Nokia 1200 as a gift on purchase of scooter. Being a part of rural India, the biggest dilemma was search for the operator who had services in such remote locations and the only telecom operator on everyone's lips was !dea. Eventually every family member got a cellphone and became part of even bigger Idea family. This was the first time ABG engraved in our hearts with its satisfied services. In 2012, after getting admission to Engineering College in Pune, a regular 14 hour train journey from hometown every three to four months added a chapter of exciting travel memories to my life. Unaware of the fact during those days, Birla Copper, one of largest contributors of copper literally keeping the Indian railways on track, not only touched my life but also is a part of almost 2.5 crore daily journeys. Pune, being a metro city introduced me numerous brands in various shopping malls across the city. When a word ‘brand’ is used there is always a question of affordability, during my first visit to a shopping center, I never expected to purchase anything. But to my surprise, I bought two shirts from different brands, one from PEOPLE and other being PETER ENGLAND and the only reason for those to be part of inventory was its equilibrium of quality and affordability. Obliviously once again ABG became part of my life and served as best choice for me. I am sure it must have been serving us at various instances which we are unaware of, so kudos to ABG for being ubiquitous.

Well you must be aware of the phrase ‘Life is a beautiful lie and death is a painful truth’, this ‘beautiful lie’ brings us various struggles till we reach our ‘painful truth’ and the only way forward is to get the better of it.

After completing my under graduation, I was hired as an Engineer in an IT firm and the fear inside me began to take new shape. This reborn fear was my phobia for computer programming. Being from electronics background, I wasn’t much exposed to programming languages, with my little knowledge of coding I converted the interview but fear of failure constantly haunted me. The thought of getting paid for the work you are not ready to do and inadequate time to learn programming before joining gave me countless sleepless nights. I started to exploit whatever time I had in learning code. As someone rightly said ‘God helps those who help themselves’, and my joining date extended by two months. These two months, I was focused on learning basics of programming through various online course material. This initial preparation boosted my confidence and after joining the tech firm we were introduced to three months training program. This training program was comprised of basics from various programming languages as well as development of soft skills and business etiquette which helped all trainees not only to fight the fear of programming but also to build and maintain our professional credibility. Thanks to the all the firms which invests in building up their new employees, it helped me, maybe others too.
