Aditya Birla Group serves the need of people across all economic background. One of the earliest memory I can recall of is of Idea net setter Modem. Being from a small town internet and it’s good network was a luxury for me. I had my 12th Boards and was in desperate need of internet, then Idea net setter came to my rescue as only their modem was available in market that time. So ABGL group have always stayed ahead of their times and indeed have a visionary thought behind their products.
Other instance I can recall of is whenever in dearth need of formals do visit Van Heusen they offer budget and quality clothing. Pantaloons is a must stop for every shopper in a mall. Apart from fashion and Telecom they have strong presence in Medical field. Their hospitals are well equipped with modern medical facilities and best of Doctors can be found serving their. Not just Indian doctors, doctors also visit across the globe in their hospitals.
Also ABGL group is one of the earliest companies to introduce Freshwrapp which greatly transformed the packaging culture of our country. I can recall of incidents how a Paratha wrapped in a Freshwrapp appealed a child more than without it. Also by acquiring Allen Solly they introduced first formal women fashion in India. So from food to fashion , hospital to construction, telecom to infrastructure , packaging to fertilizers none of the sectors are left untouched or untapped by their products. So in this way ABGL group is big and touches lives of almost every individuals in India.
Part B:
Challenges and Criticism are things that can't stop me from achieving my objective. Before joining my MBA program i was working for an MNC in shifts, so managing shifts and studies was a challenge i tried to manage both to the best of my abilities. Being a female employee also i faced certain challenges in my office as my ideas we not given as much importance as that of my male colleagues. But i never shied away in presenting my opinions and ideas and finally a day came where my ideas got recognized. So my consistency and determination helped me overcome that hurdle of not being heard.
