Aditya Birla Group, with a conglomerate of companies under it, keeps contributing to millions of people. My first experience with Aditya Birla Group was through ‘Ultra Tech Cement’. In the year 2015, during my final year of under graduation, retired from his job, my dad wanted to build a new home. One day, while I was entering home from college, I heard my dad’s voice coming from upstairs “I want only the best materials for my new home. Use only UltraTech Cement for construction”. He was on a phone call, as he came downstairs. Obviously, he was talking with the civil engineer. He was very much sure about Ultra Tech Cement being used for construction. I was curious, to know the reason why my dad wanted that specific cement for construction. I asked the question to my dad, and he asked me to find out myself. I started to search through the internet about the reasons as to why people choose UltraTech Cement over other cement manufacturers. The advantage of UltraTech over other cement manufacturers is that it maintains consistency in quality. Another advantage is high strength. The overall main advantage is the customer satisfaction they provide. They have grown huge, covering a vast geographical area in India since 1983. I am Currently Pursuing my MBA, after which I would like to also build a new home with same UltraTech Cement as my dad did. Even after decades, Aditya Birla Group is consistent in providing quality products.

Tell us, in at least 250 words, how you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
On 1993, May 20, I was born in a middle-class family. My parents had a thought that the only way one can get rich was by becoming an engineer. I chose science during my high school which paved the way for engineering after high school. My parents allowed me to choose the branch of study under Engineering. After thinking many times I chose Computer science Engineering. After my Graduation, I was placed in a private IT firm. During my work, I found that I was not really interested in the Technical or Engineering side. I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I wished to have my own startup. But back at home, my parents were excited and felt proud to tell everyone about me working in a big IT firm, in a big metro city. I decided to pursue my MBA as that was my last hope to become an entrepreneur. But convincing my parents was the biggest challenge for me. After a lot of thinking, I decided to quit my job, but that was the easiest part. The difficult part was how I would convince my mom. I started to travel back to my hometown, to convince my mom. I prepared myself by watching the ‘3 Idiots’ movie a couple of times. Once I reached my home, I started explaining why I quit my job. I stressed on the point that I was not interested in my life. To my shock, before a lot of explanation, my mom said: “This is your life; do what makes you happy”. I started preparing for CAT exams after. I overcame my challenge by expressing my feelings straight out and loud. Sometimes the best way to overcome fear is to talk out loud and straight.
