Cimmerian ambience. Strobe lights. Lasers. Techno. Flashes. Whooping.
It was NEEV-2017 theme launch bash. Embellished by celebrated stand-up comedian Akash Mehta, a breath-taking dance performance by ‘artsphere’ and spirited audience, the event epitomized the theme per se of this years’ NEEV i.e. ENCORE.
The young team of NEEV was back with more energy, synergy and plus ultra excitement. The ethos and essence of the NEEV-2017 theme was clearly reflecting in their DNA of every NEEVer – what they call themselves as.
The vignette of the event began with lamp lighting ceremony followed by directors’ inaugural monologue and a few words of appreciation by our dear faculties. The event was carried forward by Akash Mehta’s sarcastic cum pun intended comedy. Every pun was a top-notch shot – a helicopter shot to excite the audience. And break to this light entertainment was put up by the foudroyant piece of contemporary dance – Tridha which captured all eyes and hearts.
And the epilogue of the event comprised of informal and playful contests, thunderous songs of Linkin Park and mellifluous compositions of Rahman by seniors and juniors and succinct yet impressive pasquinades.
Weaving all the pearls in a single thread, the entire rosary seems to be a perfect reflection of a fantabulous and soigné event.
