Brands are not defined by their products but by the experience of its customer. One such brand that comes to my mind is Van Heusen, an initiative of Madura Fashion & Lifestyle. It is a division of Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle (ABFL) which is India’s largest and fastest growing branded apparel companies and a premium lifestyle player in the retail sector.

Van Heusen products have the perfect amalgamation of elegance, quality and finish. For me, Van Heusen is confidence. Success is perfection and Van Heusen has played a key role in my success at every important event in my life. My first suit was a black Van Heusen suit which I bought for my HSC graduation. The brand fits me well and the product is of the best quality. I keep getting offers from Van Heusen retail outlets despite not living in the same city anymore. This is the level of customer connect and perseverance that any brand should aim and achieve.

I am shy and an introvert. “We don’t grow when things are easy; we grow when we face challenges”. This is inspirational, though most of us do not seek challenges. The unpredictability of life doesn’t provide much room for such inclinations, and encountering challenges is inevitable. The key ingredient for successfully completing a challenge is confidence. In many such moments in my life, Van Heusen products have helped me feel confident and elevated my presence amongst my audience.  An example of one such moment is during my employment at an MNC post my under-graduation studies. Purchasing formals from Van Heusen was one of my best decisions. The brand fits me well, has uncountable variety and offers attractive discounts for formal, semi-formal and casual wear. On my first day at work, I stood out of the crowd due to the finesse and elegance that my formals projected. It was one of the most confident moments in my life, all thanks to Van Heusen. I received multiple compliments and made a mark amongst my peers. Since then, my purchases have been from Van Heusen and it has given me the confidence to get out of my comfort zone to achieve greater successes.

 ABFL is an important subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group (ABG), whose presence has been massive in all our lives. It is unlikely that one has never used a product, travelled or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in any way.  The quality and experience of products have put ABG as my most preferred Indian conglomerate. The diverse product ranges under ABG has reached every corner of India. Apart from creating employment opportunity for 1,20,000 people, it is one of the biggest conglomerates. Van Heusen has so much more to offer and ABG is doing everything right by them. Running a huge conglomerate extending to sectors such as health care, education, infrastructure, and lifestyle products and yet acing the fashion retail sector via Van Heusen by meeting every customer need is the epitome of perfect management practices.
