Life is full of ups & downs, not only for me but for everyone. When people are happy they want to celebrate, and when they are sad they want to be left alone and introspect. However, there is someone always hugging you in all these situations, giving you strength and motivation to move forward. It acts as a counselor and make you perform better the next time. The same is the condition with me. Describing one such situation when I went for the site visit in Bihar, there the condition was deteriorating due to flood situation in the region. Our employees and friends were caught in the situation and were not able to evacuate from that place. Wearing a Louis Philippe shirt, I felt the sense of responsibility within me. It gave me confidence to get through this difficult situation.  I, with few of the local people went out to look for method to save our people. We hired a boat to evacuate them before the situation worsened. With the help of local villagers, we were able to locate my friends and colleagues and was able to evacuate them all successfully, without any damage.  Though the damage caused to our project that year was too heavy, I felt happy about the people and friends we saved during this course of time. That day I realized that the sense of responsibility and confidence to do something for others can be marked not only in oneself, but also the confidence provided by the clothing one wears.

Working in a startup has never been easy for anyone. It was not for me too. Despite being placed in campus, I opt out and started my own company with the help of some of my friends. This was a decision not many were in support of. I took up the risk and ventured into the world of renewable energy sector. This was the idea which has motivated me from the first year of my graduation. It started with meeting people and understanding the nitty-gritty of the business. It took me a while to understand the functioning of a company in this sector. With domination of Chinese product in the market and steep fall in the prices of solar panels, it was a challenging situation throughout the operation of the business. Government policies though were supportive for the new ventures, were not sufficient. I understood that my knowledge to have a successful venture need some strong backing both in fundamental managerial skills and knowledge of business in this sector. For this I started preparing for MBA. It was a tough decision to prepare for MBA exam and also see to the operations of the company. Studying in nights and working for the company in the morning was really a challenging task. The hard-work ultimately paid off and I was selected for MBA-IB course in Indian Institute of Foreign (IIFT)-Delhi, one of the premier B-schools of India. This stepping stone in my life is a way forward to achieve new ambitions in my life.
