Challenges and life are two sides of same coin. With life, comes challenges and hurdles. But,it is of extreme importance that an individual shows resilience and be determined to overcome all the hurdles.
I have also faced several challenges in my life. When I was in 7th grade,I met with an accident that got me stitches on my forehead.I could not attend my classes for several days and the situation worsened further when I was diagnosed with jaundice in the same month.I had to miss some of my tests and prepare all the subjects on my own by changing my entire routine and sitting down with my books whenever I had time. Since I was weak at that time,I had to put a lot of efforts to understand different concepts, but with my family’s support I cleared all the exams with flying colours.
Yet,I was concerned about my face, since the scar remained for almost two years and I,being a teenager back then, was in an internal conflict with myself;Pondering about how would I respond if anybody would tease me or how would I get my original face back. But,this phase of my life also passed smoothly with the constant support of my schoolmates as well as of my parents who always motivated me to face the world come what may.
As years passed by,I started to learn from my challenges and the key element to overcome any challenge is to remain optimistic. This I learnt when even after performing quite well in my interviews,I got waitlisted in almost all of the B-Schools.I did not give up till the very end and then finally I got my confirmation call from TAPMI.
So it is very important to understand that not everything that comes your way will be under your control.Give it some time, things will fall into place.
