What it takes to get into IIM Kozhikode - RTI Query - Class of 2015 and Class of 2014 Stats

The stats below are only indicative and there is no way you can base your chances of getting into IIM Kozhikode in the future solely on the stats below. For e.g. the biggest change which has been made has been the introduction of sectional cutoffs from this year. So if a similar query if posted next year, the minimum sectional percentile for general category will be above 80 only. (You can read our analysis of IIM K's criteria for Class of 2016 here)

Some conclusions :

1) IIM K calls candidates for GD-PI in the ratio of approx 1: 10

2) Minimum sectional percentiles dipped in a big way for the most recent batch (Class of 2015)

3) Overall CAT Percentile of 85 has been enough to get final admission at IIM K for General Category Students.

simply complex or complexly simple, ......WHATEVER !!

I don't understand how to read/relate to these statistics. With 85 percentile (89 in QA+DI and 74 in VA+LR), decent marks (approx. 10% more than the stated min.) in X, XII & graduation (non-engineer: Architecture) and 30mths of work-ex, I didn't even get an interview call in OBC category.
