The Aditya Birla Group is that multinational conglomerate that India is proud to be associated with. The Group has grown from a small cotton trade to the big business empire that it is today and has a strong hold over every sector it has ever set foot on.The Aditya Birla Group has been a part of my life from a very long time now. For instance, every time I think of updating my wardrobe, the first few brands that come to my mind are forever 21, pantaloons etc. The brands provide us all the new trends in one place at the most reasonable prices. The sim cards that we are using are from the ABG, the houses that we live in are built by products from the ABG, but the list does not end there. The ABG has products in so many industries that it becomes a part of our daily lives even without us realizing. The interesting thing is the wide range of industries that the ABG is working in. Be it Finance, Telecommunication, Chemicals, Textile, ABG has profitable ventures in almost all these fields. Apart from these profitable ventures, the group also has various philanthropic ventures such as schools and hospitals for the underprivileged. Such developmental projects that have been taken up by the ABG do not impact our lives directly but eventually, as our intellectual capital and quality of life improves, their impact will be felt. The ABG also has a strong international reach. Hence, it can be agreed upon that no matter where we are from or what we do, we will always have some sort of a link with the ABG.

Challenges are a part and parcel of our lives. The challenges we face in life give us an opportunity to learn and grow. I have had my fair share of challenging situations to overcome. One thing that I always focused on was keeping a positive outlook no matter how difficult a situation seemed. I believe that the moment one gives up in his mind, he has lost whatever it is he is trying to achieve. It is okay to lose sometimes. But the one thing we need to focus on is what we learn from such failures as these prepare us for bigger challenges to overcome in life.Being in the Indian Army was the big dream. My father has always been my inspiration for the same. It was only after my graduation that I realized that joining the army was not as easy as I thought it would be. The amount of competition I would have to face was immense. In 2017, I got selected to appear for SSB of the Indian Army. The competition was very fierce. The ratio between the number of people applying vs no of people getting selected was about 100:3. The chances of me getting recommended were very skim as the others I was up against had a lot more experience than I did. However, the one thing that kept me motivated throughout the entire journey was my positivity. It was because of my positive outlook that I was able to relax and perform well and hence get recommended. One of the biggest things I learned was that if I put my mind into things, I can achieve whatever it is I want to, provided I have a positive outlook over the same.
