Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big in Your Life?
My relation with the ADITYA BIRLA GROUP started way back when I was young and not so innocent. It was a transaction of 49
rupees and the product that I got in return has been worth way more than that.
- Back in those days it was a trend to have a fancy mobile number. I being an innocent teenager was also consumed by it. I scoured all the shops in my neighbourhood but all the fancy numbers were way too costly. But out of the blue I found a shop selling a rather fancy number belonging to the Idea network. I immediately jumped on the opportunity, paid 49 rupees onlyand took the sim. I have used the sim card with pride during my teenage and now with satisfaction due to good service in my adult life. It has been around 10 years since I bought the sim and I have no complaints.
- Growing up, one’s body undergoes several biological changes and after a while one realizes that clothes belonging to only a few brands fit perfectly. There was a store in Hyderabad belonging to ABG called Pantaloons where I used to buy clothes regularly through out my teenage and a few years after that.
- Well into my adulthood, LIFE came in a full circle again when I required a blazer to attend my college interviews for MBA after writing CAT. Coincidentally my first blazer belonged to LOUIE PHILIPPE owned once again by ABG. It sort of turned out to be lucky because I wore it to all my interviews and converted most of them before choosing MDI.
The relation which began with 50 rupees proved to be one of the biggest stays in my life. ABG gave me fancy number when I needed one, gave me clothes, gave the first BLAZER that I have. Now there might be a chance of ABG providing me a job too.
The products that I purchased have always made me feel that I got a way better deal than ABG. The value addition is immense and I certainly hope to also build a home for myself using ABG Ultratech cement. Aditya Birla Group has indeed been big in my life, by not only affecting me on a daily basis but also by being there as a lucky charm.
How Have You Made an Impact? - Some people have it easy in their lives while some others find it not so easy. There are also a different set of people who find the softest spot in a quicksand and then sink into it inadvertently. Unfortunately, I am one of them. Due to various circumstances I’ve always had the inclination to challenge the status quo in the society. Due to this burning desire I attempted NDA. After clearing the initial round, I had an appendix operation and could not attend further rounds.
Then I cleared SSB to get into Combined Defence Services but was rejected later due to medical ineligibility.
Later I spent 3 years working very hard to try and get into Civil Services but I could not. Despite perseverance, hard work and dedication there were many setbacks. Moments of such heartbreak after struggling a lot takes immense mental strength and composure to withstand. - But I have never deviated from my goal. These are all just means to an end. There are several other paths to this end. For this reason, I hope to use the expertise I gain after MBA to work with governments and organisations all over for the betterment of the society.
