How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
When I was in college, I was one among the coordinators of ‘Conscientia’, a campaign aimed at addressing various social issues, which was organized as a part of the college tech fest. It was a ten day online campaign and as a part of that, we decided to organize ‘Dyuthi Run’, a half marathon and an interactive session with the transgender people around us. There were mixed opinions from students, teachers, sponsors etc. since it was a delicate issue we were trying to handle. Since it was organized as part of the college fest, there was strong opposition from the sponsors about this decision and it was informed to us two days before the scheduled date of programme. But we were strong about our decision and decided to arrange the finance for that by ourselves. Within a day, we arranged the necessary funds and the programme was a massive success. Many people told us that the programme was an eye-opener for them. I consider this as an achievement and I am really satisfied about what I was able to do. We would come across various challenges in life. But it is our instinct which will make a difference.
