I live in a small village of Odisha. My grandfather has a cement shop in our village. He sells Ultra Tech cement a product of Aditya Birla Group. He started the business with a small cement shop. Slowly he expanded it into a large one. It was the only financial source for him. However he maintained his family by his cement shop. My father used to tell me the struggle of his life. How my grandfather fulfilled his needs by the revenue of that cement shop. But now the condition has been changed. The size and income of the shop has increased. He also provided money for my B.Tech and MBA admission otherwise I would have applied for loan. Also our house is also constructed by Ultra Tech cement. Most of the roads, bridges, houses are constructed by Ultra Tech cement. It has a great contribution to my life.
Since I came for my higher studies, I used to go Pantaloons for shopping. Pantaloons is a conglomeration of various brand of clothes. I prefer Pantaloons to purchase clothes. Recently I purchased a business formal for my MBA programme from Pantaloons. It really enhanced my looks and personality. The quality of product is really good and cost effective.
In the field of connectivity it has played a pivotal role. Now Vodafone has merged with Idea. Most of the family members use Vodafone sim cards due its better feature and connectivity. I also use Vodafone sim. Its signal strength is quite good in our locality. It really helped me in connecting to different people and made my life easier.
So the impact of Aditya Birla Group in my life is huge. At last I would like to thank to Aditya Birla Group from the deep corner of my heart for their contribution in my life.
To be honest being good at academics during my school days, I did not expect that I will struggle for a job in future. I was the block topper in class X. So being hopeful I prepared for IIT JEE after my intermediate. But I could not crack IIT JEE. I got admission in a newly established government college as an electrical engineer. Gradually three years passed. Then the twist came in my life. As it was newly established no campus placement occurred in our batch. Then I passed out from the college. I wandered like a vagabond .One of my cousin is a safety officer in Dubai. He advised me to do a safety course. Then I did post diploma in fire and industrial safety. After that I did NEBOSH, a safety course required for gulf countries. Then I went to Mumbai to appear interviews for job. But I could not crack any interviews as golf countries require minimum three years of safety field experiences for job. At that moment I was mentally depressed.
However I could manage to return home then again started searching for job. Again I failed in many interviews as I had no prior work experience. Finally I cracked an interview and started working as safety officer in a company. After working for few months there I did not get any satisfaction from the work. Then I decided to quit the job.
Then I started preparing for MBA entrance examinations. I really worked hard as I had no options. Finally fortune smiled on me. After lots of struggle I could able to convert XIMB. But what I feel, actual struggle starts here. I feel miles to go before I sleep. To survive you have to struggle till the last breath of your life.
