I born and raised in Kalyan. When I was a kid, I used to urge my dad to go to different places every weekend. In Kalyan, apart from the 3-4 recreational spot, there was not any place for roaming. So, I used to cry as I was bored with the same place. One day my father told me that he would take me to visit Birla temple near Shahad. As I had seen many temples in Kalyan, I was not at all excited at the first time. But excitement about seeing something new, I went with my father. When I saw the temple, it became perhaps the best visit in my childhood days. After that, it became a routine to visit Birla Temple on weekend. I was stunned by the architecture of a temple with various sculptures adorned on its walls. The temple complex, flooring, and stairs are constructed out of white marble. I used to play in a huge but well-maintained garden. When we used to visit by Auto from Kalyan to Shahad, every time I used to see Century Rayon Company. When I asked, I got to know about Aditya Birla Group. This company has influenced not only me but also many other young people who want to be an entrepreneur. It started with Jute Manufacturing Company 1919 and subsequently transformed it to a leading multi-product corporation covering varied business sectors. Aditya Birla Group marks its presence in Cement, Jute goods, PVC floor covering, Auto trims, Aluminum Products, Textiles, Readymade garments, Life and general insurance products, Financial services, Telecommunications, BPO and software services, and Exports. Whenever we have to buy any clothes, we think of Pantaloon fashions and Lifestyle, because the brand associated with it assure variety and quality. A US $44.3 billion corporations, the Aditya Birla Group, is in the League of Fortune 500.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
I am an Introvert kind of person. But MBA program demands outspoken, Extrovert type of personality with excellent ability to manage the situation. Networking has significant value in MBA. I have decided to change my attitude. So, I made some strategic plan for that. I decided to meet one person from my batch and one person from senior daily. I tried to interact with them and shared some information by some small talk. I am trying to speak up during lecture and various committee meetings. I was also rewarded for good acting in the skit. One thing in which I struggled was Time management. I have a good experience in managing work before the deadline during my work experience. But in MBA college, things are uncertain. You have multiple works each with different deadlines. So, you have to prioritize your work. I have created timetable indicating task and their deadline. After completion of one task, replace it with the next one. With this simple activity, I am able to complete my work without missing the deadline. Everyone has some or other weakness. It is up to you whether you hide it or fight with it. If you try to hide it, it may cost you high at a later stage of your life. But if you decided to fight, then IIM is the place where you will get abundant opportunities without any cost. So, I would say everyone has some or other weakness; it is up to you how you tackle them.
