The Aditya Birla Group has done so much work over the past few decades that it is impossible for anyone to not have used or been in association with ABG products and brands in some or the other way. One of the brands that has influenced me from a very young age has been Peter England. I have always enjoyed shopping from any of the Peter England outlets. One of the main reasons why I love this particular brand is because of the high quality that has been maintained through all these years. All the clothes which are sold by Peter England have a different feel to them, are comfortable and above all very affordable. The pricing statergies used by Peter England have been one of the best in the industry. They have always tried to keep all their products in a very affordable price range and that is one of the reasons why someone like me is so inclined to keep coming back and buying clothes from Peter England even though there are so many other brands offering similar products. Another huge reason why I feel a special connect towards this brand is because of the fantastic customer service that they offer. Their after sales service has been one of the best I have experienced and for a company as big as Peter England to maintain high quality standards with good customer service is a very commendable thing. Whenever I hear about Aditya Birla Group the first thing that comes to my mind is the success of a fantastic brand that is Peter England.
How I overcame challenges to achieve ambitions in life so far
During my undergraduation I was playing professional cricket at a good level. It was always very hard for me to manage both, my studies and train at the same time. I would have assignments to complete and on the same day have matches in the remotest parts of the city, add to that my practice and training schedules. This was obviously a huge challenge I faced throughout the 3 years of my graduation but one thing that always kept me motivated was my passion to play the game and do well in it. I also knew that I had to study well and try and get into a good business school because that was equally important for me. One of the biggest decisions I had to make in the while playing was when do I stop? It was a question I thought about almost everyday because once my graduation was done I had to make that tough call. My graduation was finally complete and I took that tough call. I decided I will give one more year to my Cricket and try and achieve what I thought I could in that span of time. I trained hard, practiced well and tried to play to the best of my ability over that one year. In the process I got injured, and got to know that I could never play the game at the intensity at which I was playing it. I was devastated. But after going through a lot I though that I will not have any regrets because I gave my best. I spent the rest of the year studying for all management exams and managed to get a good score which helped me get into one of the premier B schools in the country.
