Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?

Aditya Birla Group is a part of all our lives due to its branches spreading into all sectors of today’s world. From making cement to supplying black carbon for tires, from textiles to readymade fashion apparels, Aditya Birla Group is everywhere. The fashion brands under them are the daily wear brands that we all have come across at one point of time. Brands like Louis Phillipe, Van Heusen and Allen Solly have always been my first choice in case of both formal and informal. The best part is all these brands are part of Aditya Birla Group. The place where I normally visit to buy my clothing is Pantaloons which is again under Aditya Birla Group. Their discounts have been pretty great from their inception and these brands offer good quality clothing at very nominal price. The offers that they give on season sales are the ones I look forward to because sometimes the higher range of clothing like blazers from good brands are pretty pricy so discounts help getting them at nominal prices. I also buy t-shirts from brands like Peter England and they are a part of my day to day life. Comfort clothing, style and personality that’s all a man needs to wear and this MNC helps us with the first two. My daily life has Aditya Birla Groups in it since most of my wardrobe is filled with these above-mentioned brands and I am a person who is very loyal to some brands like Allen Solly and Van Heusen.

How I have managed to overcome challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far.

Challenges are a part of life. You deal with each one of them in a different way.  Everyone has faced some challenge in their life at one point of time and the way they recovered is what makes it a good story to tell. So, I had left my stable IT job and started studying for my MBA entrance exams after coming back to my home town. That was when I was diagnosed with an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Due to regular pains in the lower abdomen my studies were hampered a lot. I somehow gave the exams but was not expecting a great result out of it. I decided to go back to Bangalore and find another job in IT just in case. So, I came back and started searching for jobs actively. I used to stay at a friend’s place who was out of town. Regular interviews and a busy schedule didn’t leave a bit of energy in me to come back home and cook something for myself. Bangalore being an expensive city had already started draining my wallet. Once you start earning, you start respecting your parents’ money and try to reduce taking it from them as less as possible. My pockets were going dry and my ego kept me from taking money from parents. No luck in the job field as well as I had just 23 months of experience that too not in a particular domain. My previous package was also pretty low so the new offers did not come with the hike that I expected. My results for entrance exams came out and that was another huge blow to me. I missed a Tier 1 college interview by 2 marks and also did not crack a few very good colleges by 2 or 3 marks. I started cursing my luck every now and then. I had to keep myself calm and keep on trying. Finally, I cracked a very good job in a startup which was offering me a pretty decent package. I started looking at things one at a time. My friend was back and I had to find a place of my own. House hunting in Bangalore for bachelors is another headache. Anyway, I got one after two weeks of proper searching. My health was a pain during the entire time but I managed to take care of it as well. So ultimately in the next two months, I got an offer letter from a top B-school in India, cracked the interview and now I am doing my post graduate in management finally. 2019 started with a lot of hurdles for me I know but I hope it ends on a better note. Hurdles will keep coming, we will fall down also but then we have to get up, shake the dirt off our sleeves and continue running. So I will end my article with the old saying : “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”.
