A group which has been in existence since 1857, the Aditya Birla Group is sure to have played a part in the lives of every Indian citizen living today. The Aditya Birla Group continues to play big in Indians’ life being the No. 1 in segments like Branded apparel and mobile telecom services, apart from being a leader in segments like cement (grey cement, white cement & concrete) and life insurance & asset management. Apart from leading in several important segments in India, the Aditya Birla Group is the World No. 1 in production of rolled aluminium, viscose staple fibre and is a world leader in several other segments like telecom, cement. By being the world leader in several important segments, the company has made India a strong competitor at the global level.

As a global leader in several segments, the Aditya Birla Group has presence across the globe and has set an example as an employer focusing on diversity, having a workforce of 120000 employees, belonging to 42 different nationalities.

As an Indian, my life has also been touched upon by the Aditya Birla Group. I am a proud user of the group’s brands like Peter England, just like many of my age group. The group’s brands can be found in all leading textile stores across India.

The Aditya Birla Group has played a big part in India’s development not only by leading in business, but also by giving back to the society. The group has reached out to the society through its involvement in healthcare, education, rural development.
