- Part A : Why Aditya Birla Group is Big in Your Life ?
Aditya Birla Group or ABG, has touched millions of lives in million ways. This business group was present at all stages in our lives and we hardly ever notice its impact. They have wide range of products like cements, garments, FMCG product, telecom services, finance services etc. They have embossed their foot-prints in every steps of life. Aditya Birla Group affects millions of lives in more than 30 countries. With a work force of 130,000, it’s the third largest Indian private sector conglomerate with $44.3 billion in revenue in 2018.
How many of us agree to this fact? Well, I can see an array of hands being raised. For sure, the warmth of our home is incomparable. But did we just notice that Aditya Birla Group plays a major role in the making of this home sweet home? The Group, with its strong UltraTech cement product ensures that the roots of the house remain strong and bear all the atrocities of time and protect us.
Other than affecting customers, it has gone beyond businesses and Aditya Birla Group through its CSR activities has brought vast changes in the rural India. Its outreach in 5000 villages has affected 7.5 million people and provided facilities in the fields of healthcare, mid-day meals, education and skill trainings thereby giving back to the community.
- Part B - How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
Perseverance is a great thing in everyone’s life. I understood it when I got admission in the NMIMS Bangalore. I wanted to do my post-graduation from good college. Therefore I was preparing for the various entrance exams in 2017. I prepared very hard for the various exams and I had appeared for the CAT however, I could not perform very well in that exam. I got very disappointed. My parents convinced me and they told me various opportunities available in the life. SO, I trusted them and prepared for the coming exam NMAT.
I gave my 1st attempt of NMAT exam in November 2017. I thought I have done well in the exam however when result came, I had scored very low marks. Again, I got disappointed then again my parents supported me. They had seen the efforts taken by me. So, they gave me courage to appear for the next attempt of NMAT. My parents explain me what is perseverance they gave me various examples like Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Dhirubhai Ambani etc. They explained me how these people succeeded in their life also explained me the value of perseverance. So, again I appeared for the NMAT exam in December 2017 and I scored very well. And I got the confidence that I will get admission in the NMIMS.
Finally, I get the admission in NMIMS, Bengalore in 2018. My hard work pays off. I got my dream college. At the end I want to say – “ Rise above the storm and you will find the sunshine.”
