Aditya Birla Group is directly or indirectly involved in my day to day life, from the concrete used to build the house I stay in to the clothes I wear to the Mobile network in use, Aditya Birla Group is there.
Among the many of the products that have touched my life directly or indirectly, few of the prominent one in my life are-
Cement- UltraTech cement, this is my first memory of hearing about the Brand Adiya Birla, I was 12 Years Old and accompanied my father to place order for cement packets for our under construction house at that time, till that time we were using ACC cement for construction, but that was the first time the dealer recommended UltraTech cement and told about its benefits, after my father was convinced he placed order for Ultra Tech Cement, and who can forget the famous Ad campaign by Ultra Tech, the engineers choice.
Textiles- In have been a regular visitor of Pantaloons, I like their pricing, collection and the service and behavior of staff is excellent.
Peter England is one of my most preferred brand, for the design, quality and trending clothes they design and sell at great prices.
Telecommunications- I have been using Idea since 2016, I switched to Idea cellular for its great network and competitive prices.
Aluminium- Being one of the biggest steel suppliers for the automobile industry I am pretty sure that I have used the services of the car built using steel manufactured at Hindalco.
Part B
How I overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
I have faced several challenges and tried to overcome those to the best of my efforts, like everyone else. I did my schooling from a remote town in Arunachal Pradesh, where there was not even a single coaching for IIT/NIT’s. I prepared on my own, after my school studies and managed to clear AIEEE and got selected in NIT Arunachal Pradesh in my first attempt.
While I was preparing for CAT, I was working in shifts in office, late night (9PM to 6AM) and early morning (6AM to 3PM) and even weekend shifts. I still remember on weekends I used to leave my room by 7 AM in morning got to coaching, then go to office and return by 11 PM back. Sometimes I used to wonder why I am doing this, is it worth it, will it pay off. I learnt the meaning of Hope, I almost gave up after seeing my scores in Mock tests but somehow managed to hang on. I believe miracles do happen, and miracle is when preparation meets luck, former is in our hands and the latter we can hope for. It paid off, IIM Raipur is helping me in acquiring skills to be better equipped for the second innings of my life.
Now coming to the How part, I used to talk to people who have through the same situation, I asked myself one question if they can why I cannot? I talked about my problems with my parents and just few words from them meant a world of difference for me (Ho jaayega, It will happen). Life will give me lemons at each and every step but now I have learnt how to make and savor the taste of lemonade.
