Aditya Birla Group since 1857 founded by Shri Seth Shiv Narayan Birla, headquartered in Mumbai and changing lives worldwide.
I trace my roots of connection to the AB Group to my school days, when Maa used to wrap my food in a Freshwrapp aluminium foil and when collecting them as our silver balls was a major treasure.
When I had to shift from my hometown to my college town, I did not have time to search every corner of the bazaar to shop and then Anabelle-not the doll-came to the rescue.
On arriving at the college when we got disproved of our business formals then guess who came to the rescue, ABG again!
From watching my colleagues frowning over disproval of the dress code in the morning to carrying bags of VanHeusen and Allen Solly in the evening, our life started building around it. We started calling each other to get a coat from Solly and a matching shirt from Louis Phillip, to pick our altered pants from VanHeusen. At one point it seemed like an ice-breaking session organized by ABG itself. Friendships started to build over the coat of Solly and we began to groom ourselves by ABG and for ABG.
Pantaloons being the apparel outlet for ABG has made Brands common for Indian household.
From Akkriti showcasing the Indian ethnic roots to forever 21 bringing in the trendy western apparels in the market.
Earlier Indian common man was reluctant to invest money in brands but ABG has made the brands homely for all of us that we feel connected to them. It is a home-made entity that runs in every Indian's blood and soul.
How I overcame challenges in my life
It all started with me being miserable at AIEEE and I can not be less thankful for my failures.
To quote,-“two roads diverged in a yellow wood and I took the one less traveled which has
made all the difference”- Mr. Frost
It was my first day out in the world, an “overprotected” child entering the scorching sun leaving behind the 50 shades of comfort. I entered the capital that was going to be my home for the next 3 years.
This was my chance to either give in to the situation or to Evolve Myself.
Days passed, the journey began, one step at a time. I learned the art of reading books out of faces.
College and campus became staple and I started having a chunk of it for breakfast.
It was the Beginning of New Things in my life. Newly found home and homies, life was now anew, fresh with blood on my hands and fire in my throat. This is how slowly and steadily I made this newly found city an inseparable part of my life. And it still is.
I made a home away from home. It was now My World My Way. During the whole time, I learned that life is an ever-changing process. Now when I look back I see a girl entering the world low on herself, conquering her demons and walking out with her head held high.
Currently, I’m in a different city and I’ve started with a similar procedure.
Its the same old ride but a different roller-coaster.
