When I started online shopping Abof was one of my favourite e-commerce sites. With collections ranging from apparels to clothing, it was a delightful place to browse through for a fashionista like me. Despite its premature shutdown, Abof shall remain one of my favourite online destinations for clothing and apparels. For such a large conglomerate like Aditya Birla Group, its decision to venture into various categories, in which fashion plays a considerable part, is worth commending. It has also acquired popular fashion Retail Company Forever 21, which happens to be a huge favourite among girls and women. Its other brick and mortar stores which sell brands like Louis Phillipe, Van Heusen, Peter England, Allen Solly etc. shows Aditya Birla Group’s commitment towards the fast changing landscape of fashion and top notch quality.

Prior to joining a reputed B-School for my MBA, I was always interested in the world of fashion. My interest doesn’t lie in the superficiality of the fashion world, but rather in the intricacies of the global business which revolutionizes the style with time. This temporal dimension of fashion relies not only on avant-garde art and creativity, but on scientific breakthroughs and in-depth market research. In this relentless effort towards trailblazing fashion, I believe Aditya Birla Group plays a pertinent role, especially when it comes to a diversified market like India where the demographic is eclectic. I believe, my passion for fashion and my work ethics aligns well with the standards set by the Aditya Birla Group, and hence, it plays a major role in my life.
