Aditya Birla Group is one of India's largest conglomerates and also claims to be the most international of the country's major corporations. The company acts as a holding company for more than 72 manufacturing and services subsidiaries throughout India, and in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, China, Egypt, and Canada. I came to know about the company through my Industrial analysis subject. During independence, the Birla family became important supporters of the independence movement which were led by Mahatma Gandhi. The best part about ABG is that it has its unique way of streamlining operations, regrouping various industrial operations into a more coherent structure. I am kind of a shopaholic person but the major issue in a student’s life is money constraints. Pantaloons is my go-to place all the time.

Since the inception of Aditya Birla Group, Birla has continuously expanded its network, national as well as international. The company motivates you to keep going until you have achieved your goal.

Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs is a great initiative to groom individuals to be the future leaders of Aditya Group. They have created different programs for different groups and ages of people. Example, they have a leap program for the experienced people, group internship program and many other programs.

I did my under-graduation from Delhi University and after that I wanted to pursue my MBA from a reputed company. I started preparing from the last year of my college and gave all the tests, but I could not get a nice college. I became disheartened and started looking for jobs, that time of my life was difficult because my mental health started declining and I could not control my negative thoughts. I was unable to decide what to do in my career and started losing hope. But my mom has always been my best guide, she enrolled me for the meditation classes and my mental health started improving in 2 weeks. I started looking for jobs and then prepared for interviews and landed in HCL as network analyst, I realized that really want to pursue MBA and then started preparing for CAT and other MBA competitive exams. I managed my job with the online tests and preparations. This time I started giving more time for the analysis of my online mock CAT exams and noted my mistakes. I started improving and started hoping for the best. I gave all the exams and landed in a good PGDM college where I want to pursue my degree in Analytics. The key for not losing hope is to keep faith in the best. Even if something bad is happening, it is happening for the best and it prepares us for the worst circumstances. And the only lesson I learnt was not to be dependent on other people to fix your own problems. Learn from other people’s success stories but also focus on their failures. Overcoming life’s challenges requires the same thing but with a little comforting thought: you’re the only person who can solve your own problems but expect to find strength in the most unexpected places.
