A US $43 billion corporation, the Aditya Birla Group is in the League of Fortune 500. Anchored by an extraordinary force of over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities. Over 50 per cent of its revenues flow from its overseas operations spanning 35 countries. Hence evidently it has a huge customer base spread all over the world. I for one have been a very loyal customer of  the brands associated with the Aditya Birla Group.

Brands like 'Forever 21', 'Allen Solly', 'American Eagle', 'Louis Philippe', 'Ted Baker', 'Pantaloons', 'Ralph Lauren' to name a few have been my go to brands when it comes to buying clothes and accessories. These brands hold some kind of trust element in them that enables them to drive the customers to their brands time after time. This trust finds its root from their ability to give customer satisfaction in terms of the service provided by the staff, the affordability, the exciting discount offers, and also the wide variety of options it offers to its customers. These brands have a legacy of its own as far as fashion industry is considered which is not a cake walk in today's competitive market.

However Aditya Birla group does not limit itself to only fashion brands but also extends its base to daily utility brands like 'Hindalco Freshwrapp'. Today we can find this brand of aluminium wraps almost in every household, that is the level of monopoly this brand holds in the market of aluminium rolling. Also how can one forget about 'UltraTech Cement'. Our television screens are always flooded with the advertisement of this cement brand, though it does not need any additional promotion as it is indeed every "Engineer's choice" for cement.

Coming to 'Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Limited (ABPB)' which is a full-service digital bank, incorporated with 51:49 equity stake held by Grasim Industries Limited and Idea Cellular Limited. ABPB offers innovative banking features like mobile number as bank account number, ‘One Bank PIN’ across wallet/savings account/BHIM ABPB UPI, cashless transactions and interactive bank statements. Needless to say Aditya Birla Group or ABG plays a huge role in my day to day life and i have every intention of continuing my loyalty towards all the aforementioned brands for a long time now.

How I overcame challenges in my life?

I come from a family of academicians. Both my parents are professors and my elder sister is a software engineer for NCAR in USA. From the very beginning of my middle school I felt this unsaid, unrealized and totally unnecessary pressure to constantly perform. This pressure added extra weight on my shoulders from a very young age itself. I wouldn't go ahead and blame the education system for it and make it the scapegoat like most of the people do just because they can. I would rather not blame anyone and present and hopefully represent the position of most of the students of this age. I started to fear failures or disapproval or just the idea of under performing. I wanted a constant validation from my teachers and my family on everything and anything I did. My parents and my teachers were very supporting and helpful to me, so I could not pin point on that one particular thing that was burdening me. It was a self developed, self induced pressure I built inside of me. I chose science field for my 11th and 12th standard and this is where many people will be able to relate to my story. As it is popularly said that the actual engineering is easier than the preparation of its entrance exams, I can readily testify this. I took admission in the coaching institutes and that's when my anxiety started to develop more and more. After kneeling down in front of my anxiety and depression for yet another time, I decided that I will have to take active steps to win this never ending battle with my inner self. I started schooling myself to accept failures with a zeal of perseverance. I decided that no matter what, I will never quit trying. I started doing things that I never did before. I stopped caring about what goes outside and started focusing on what goes inside. I valued my validation of me more than any one else's validation. I realized that sometimes the greatest battle we fight is with ourselves. And winning this battle results in no losses but with only a winning smile of confidence and self love. Hence I want to take this opportunity to tell everyone out there to stop caring about other's opinions of you and never stop yourself from dreaming and believing to achieve those dreams.
