Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services.
Business attire has changed significantly over the years, especially in the last 20 years. business attire is important for every business professional is because it presents a visual image and sends a message that the employees are professional. Another reason why dressing in proper business attire is important in the business world is because you never know when you will be required to meet with someone from outside your company. Your image to this outsider will be the image remembered of your company. B-schools teach their students for the same. Everyone men as well as women need to look equally presentable. Men have so many options for formal attire but women on the other hand have very less. ABG has proved to be a savior in this with brands like Allen Solly and Van Heusen, one can completely rely on them. We as NM students have certain standards for formals (particular type) to maintain uniformity, Van Heusen and Allen Solly have the perfect attire for formals in women. The stuff, variety and the price at which it offers is commendable. No other brands have such variety and clothes that comply to the attire we are required to. Dressing up nicely comes plays the most important role in placements or in a company and ABG has played a big role in my life in that. ABG also has this other brand called Forever 21, it is the best and my favourite brand for clothes. It has such good collection.
Challenges faced
Life is something that is much more complex than anyone can imagine. No matter who the person is or how old they are, everyone faces various obstacles and challenges that make their lives difficult. Some people are faced with physical limitations such as not being able to pick something up or walk up a flight of stairs while others may be faced with mental limitations such as being unable to comprehend something that’s going on. Two of the toughest points in an individual’s life come during the years of adolescence and late adulthood. These points of a person’s life can be overwhelming and stressful as a person tries their best to grasp the changes occurring before their very eyes.
Introverts are a strange breed. One day we're very involved, and the next we're in our room binge-watching three seasons on Netflix. We don't judge you when you give us your life story, so we just ask that you don't judge us barely giving our names. I’m pretty sure I have one of the most introverted personalities on the planet. I can write and communicate anything that’s on my mind through writing, but if you get me in a room face-to-face, I’ll be at a loss for words. It makes for many awkward situations that I’d prefer to avoid. Which is probably why I love writing so much. When I joined college, I was very under confident related to everything be it my looks. I used to find difficult to stand and even talk in front of my classmates for a presentation. I used to get so nervous before presentations and panic at the same time. I the decided to change that about me and I started working towards it. I started from pushing myself a little every day. My friends and family helped me a lot, in fact they are the reason I’m so confident today. I joined a society in my college which helped me ace my public speaking skills. I am proud of who I am today and I know what I went through to achieve this.
