Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life

Aditya Birla group is the epitome of an Indian Multi National Corporation whose operations span across 34 countries and with national leadership in several businesses it operates in.

One of my treasured interactions with ABG was on 11th August 2017, on my birthday when I turned 22 years old. My parents bought me my first suit for my Engineering farewell, we had visited the nearest Peter England outlet and bought an elegant suit .I wore the same suit for MBA college interviews and the suit always reminded me with memories of my bitter-sweet engineering farewell and of my parents generosity.

An another beloved interaction with ABG involved Idea Ltd. The day after my Class 12th Board exams got over my parents bought me my first mobile phone along with an Idea simcard and  started a family pack for a hassle free experience.

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.

“My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

In 2013 when I was in Class 12th - stressed about CBSE Board Exams, on an ordinary weekend an insurance agent had popped by at my home to complete the documentation for my father’s health insurance. As things went by my parents realized that weight can play a factor in insurance premiums and so, I was asked to check my weight. When I finally stepped on the scale to know my weight it screamed out loud – “Ninety-Five Kilograms”. My parents probably had a worse shock than I did that I weighed close to a Quintal.

That was the turning point came for me. Henceforth, I decided to make healthier food choices though things did not change overnight. I struggled a lot and relapsed back to unhealthy eating habits more than once, but I did not quit.

In my final year of under graduation when I completed the 5 day Hapta Pass Trek in Himachal Pradesh covering a peak of over 14,500 feet , I felt very proud of this accomplishment as I had to let go of the very same opportunity earlier due to lack of fitness.
